Education Calendar

The Caritas Education Team works with Catholic school students across Aotearoa New Zealand, helping them explore Catholic social teaching (CST) and connect faith with action and justice.

Through our programs, students discover the root causes of poverty and injustice while learning how they can make a real difference. From composing original songs for SINGout4JUSTICE to creating innovative solutions in the Kaitiaki2Share competition, our students put their faith into action.

Our annual calendar includes Lent resources, Caritas Challenge, Caritas Justice Chats, YCC Day, Social Justice Week, and student competitions that raise both awareness and funds for communities around the world.

Collaborating with Schools Across New Zealand

Caritas partners with Catholic schools nationwide to help young people respond to injustice in our world. Our Education Team travels across the country, providing engaging resources, interactive sessions (both in person and virtual), and practical support to teachers and students.

Whether it’s developing Lent resources aligned with the liturgical calendar, running workshops on global partnerships, or supporting students through competitions and campaigns, we’re here to help your school community connect faith with action.
