The Caritas Justice Chats are returning in March 2026!

These interactive online sessions are designed to inspire and support student leaders in becoming proactive agents of social justice, peace, and change within their schools and communities, grounded in Catholic social teaching.

Join us on this journey as we engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative learning.

What to Expect

What's on Offer:

During our Caritas Justice Chats, students will:

  • Discover the work of Caritas around the world and in our Pacific neighbourhood

  • Reflect on Catholic social teaching principles and how they apply to today's world

  • Explore current global issues and how young people can respond with love and action

  • Connect with student leaders from Catholic schools across Aotearoa New Zealand

  • Discuss practical ways to make a difference in your school and community

  • Learn about Caritas programmes and initiatives

  • Set goals for 2026 that will inspire, educate and raise funds

  • Have fun while growing as leaders!

Session Details

Primary Sessions (Years 5+)

  • Duration: 70 minutes

  • 6 sessions available throughout March 2026

  • Session times:

    • Morning option: 9:00am - 10:10am

    • Midday option: 11:00am - 12:10pm

Secondary Sessions (Years 12-13)

  • Duration: 90 minutes

  • 3 sessions available throughout March 2026

  • Session times:

    • Morning option: 9:00am - 10:30am

    • Midday option: 11.00am - 12.30pm

Where? All sessions will take place via Zoom - join from anywhere in Aotearoa! You’ll receive the Zoom link after registration
