Caritas Challenge

A collage promoting the Caritas Challenge campaign showing images of people in different environments: by the water, on a beach, and in a village. The text encourages choosing a challenge such as stop, move, sweat, or live it to promote change and resilience, accompanied by descriptions and motivational messages. The poster emphasizes the importance of community action against climate change.

Caritas promotes authentic human development. This means development of the whole person. It provides for their economic, cultural, political, social and spiritual wellbeing.

The Caritas Challenge is an annual fundraising event that builds solidarity with those experiencing poverty and injustice. Through hands-on experiences that are both fun and informative, the Challenge connects students with global justice issues in meaningful ways.

In 2026, we are supporting vulnerable communities impacted by climate change through the He Oranga Taurikura programme. Together, we can help families adapt and thrive in the face of environmental challenges.

Let's work together so that communities on the frontlines of climate change can build resilience and flourish.
