As the world’s second largest humanitarian network, we are ready to support those most in need.

We work alongside our partners to build on existing local strengths and resources, so that communities can drive their own development as self-resilience is the goal.

We have strong relationships with our in-country partners to collaborate and deliver programmes that promote long-term development. This results in impactful, sustainable change that empowers individuals and families throughout a community, enabling people to build a better future.

Our programmes and partnerships often include:

  • Training and upskilling

  • Organizational development

  • Funding, and emergency support

  • Amplifying voices

  • Climate change resilience

We’re part of a global network, the second largest humanitarian network in the world which ensures we have the capacity to deliver directly to those who need it. The Caritas network has a rich history of listening to the most marginalised and vulnerable and working alongside them to support them to transform their own lives.

Grounded in Catholic Social Teaching, Caritas is the helping hand of the Church – reaching out to the most vulnerable and excluded, regardless of culture, ethnicity, religion, or gender to build a world free from poverty and injustice.
